Water and Septic
The water supply will consist of rain water collected in the cistern, and a common well which will distribute water to the cisterns as needed. Bottled water will be delivered for drinking by a local supplier, Pura Vida. Power will be supplied from Belize Electric Ltd and the developer is currently looking at alternative green sources of energy from several different sources.
The septic system is reinforced concrete. The system accepts wastewater from the home (sinks, showers, toilets, dishwasher, washing machine), treats the wastewater and returns the treated effluent to the groundwater. It is comprised of two components: a septic tank and a leaching bed.
Garbage collection will be looked after by Blue Property Management through the community fees.
